Invitation to “An Ocean of Opportunity” plus Science Literacy Week at Champney’s West Aquarium

Doors are open and events are free as we continue to celebrate Science Literacy Week at Champney’s West Aquarium.  Join us on Saturday, Sept 21st at 2 pm for “An Ocean of Opportunity” by Dr. Paul Snelgrove, Professor, Memorial University and Director of Canadian Healthy Oceans Network.  The presentation will be followed by the official opening of the Edison B. Freeman Learning Centre and refreshments. 

Show and Tell at the Aquarium

Come to the Aquarium on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 at 1 pm. Admission to the Aquarium will include a special Show & Tell session by Fiona Cuthbert, Laboratory Instructor Biology Department and Dr. Bob Hooper, retired Professor of Biology, Memorial University. Fiona and Bob are past Manager and Director of the Bonne Bay Marine Station, Norris Point. We hope to see you there!

 

Champney’s West Aquarium is Open for Business – Summer 2017

We’re excited to announce that Champney’s West Aquarium is officially opened for the Season! 

The Aquarium  will be open 7 days a week from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm!
 
Admission: Adults $7, Youth (6 to 18 years of age) $4, Children 5 and under Free.
